Trained and degree qualified in polymer/plastics, Jimmy has over 30+ years working experience in Asia-Pacific countries (Australia, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia/Singapore, India, etc.) plastics product application industry in various technical management, technology & product development, training, consulting, R&D positions for global companies, such as Flex (10 years, Senior manager - Global Technical Management/Molding Technologies), Microsoft (1 year, Plastic specialist/Senior Plastic Engineer), Nypro (now Jabil, 7 years, Molding Technology Manager), Hayco (4 years, Polymer Technology & Process Manager), etc. Prior to these companies, Jimmy worked as a polymer researcher and consulting technologist for over 8 years at Polymer Technology Centre of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia. Jimmy has full spectrum of plastic product manufacturing knowledge from materials, product design, processing, tooling, NPI industrialization, supplier technical management to end of life recycling.
