He has worked as a General Manager, Quality Assurance from January 18, 1999 to November 30, 2019 in Haldia Petrochemicals Limited and as a Quality Assurance Consultant from December 1, 2019 to November 30, 2020, and an Information Technology Consultant from December 1, 2020 to May 31 2021.
In his past working experience he has worked as a Deputy Director for the Indian Institute of Packaging and has served education on polymers, conducted the All India examination for admission to Post Graduate Diploma course on packaging, has done programme coordination, consulted on polymers, supported polymer projects, has extended instrumental support and shared his expertise on polymers.
Dr. Debabrata Mukhopadhyay has also worked as a R&D Manager in STP Limited and supported plant for troubleshooting and product development, polymer modified bitumen as a precursor for improvement of long term properties of Bitumen, using as matrix for polymer modified Bitumen emulsion and using for blend with acrylic emulsion for low cost water proofing membrane. Apart this polymer modified bitumen was also considered as one of the blend components in making matrix for mastic on roads. All these products were developed in house.
His working domains are Quality Assurance, Lot Release in all Polymer Plants (PP, LLDPE, HDPE), Quality monitoring through trend and correlation, Cursor Property Monitoring for Customer Satisfaction, Customer Support Online through Marketing, Imbibing Technology, and Finetuning Grade and Stabilisation in Plant wrt Quality Consistency and Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting.
