Mr Nishikant Shankar Pradhan has completed his Bachelor of Science from University of Mumbai with chemistry as principle and physics as a subsidiary subject.

From 1964-1967 Mr Pradhan has worked as junior chemist involving development & testing of various industrial & decorative paints & raw materials for paints industry in M/s Asian Paints Ltd Mumbai. From 1967-1987 he worked as marketing executive involving sales & technical services of various industrial & decorative coatings including planning & credit control in M/s Nerolac Paints Ltd. Mumbai.

Mr Nishikant from 1987-1992 worked as a technical sales executive cum marketing manager for M/s V.C.M. Polyurethane Pvt Ltd. Dealing in polyurethane based coatings for water proofing & anti corrosive applications. From 1992-1994 he worked as chief marketing cum purchase manager for marine paints & industrial paints manufacturing unit of M/s Chougule Group of industries in Goa.

Mr Nishikant from 1987-1992 worked as a technical sales executive cum marketing manager for M/s V.C.M. Polyurethane Pvt Ltd. Dealing in polyurethane based coatings for water proofing & anti corrosive applications. From 1992-1994 he worked as chief marketing cum purchase manager for marine paints & industrial paints manufacturing unit of M/s Chougule Group of industries in Goa.

From 1994-2002 Mr Pradhan was working as all India marketing manager for leading monopoly raw material supplier to paint industry (chlorinated rubber) for marine & high performance coating, printing ink industry & adhesive industries in India & abroad in M/s Rishiroop Group of company involving technical support, marketing, planning & credit control. Representing company in India paint association, Indian small scale paint association & Indian resin manufacturers association. He has also managed the committee for Indian Paint Association.

From 2003-2006 he was associated as a part time marketing consultant with manufacturers of resins and importers of raw materials for paints, printing inks, PTBP, HEC, cyclised rubber, EVA, polyols, desmodur N75-L75, hydrocarbon resins, paraform, penta, NBA, phthalic, epoxy resin, etc.

Mr Nishikant Shankar Pradhan from 2006 till date has been working as Sr manager- business development & technical for the trader marketing sophisticated imported products for paints, printing inks and adhesives. Their principles are MNCs and export oriented units. Products are epoxy resins, hardeners, hydrocarbon resins, TPU, TPE, blocked isocynates etc.

• Panel member of selecting candidates for diploma in paint technology by university of Mumbai.

• Presenting papers in various seminars organized by paint and printing ink industries.
